The Yummy Bit!
Where possible, I source local produce including a range of jams and preserves and make many fillings in house. I aim to use only British dairy products and the highest quality ingredients including free range eggs, rain-forest certified dark chocolate, Belgium white and milk chocolate and Madagascan vanilla bean paste.
Classic Vanilla *
Light, fluffy Madagascan vanilla bean sponge with lashings of delicious vanilla buttercream, layered with either tangy raspberry or sweet strawberry conserve.
Rich Chocolate *
Rich and decadent chocolate cake with either dark chocolate, or creamy white chocolate ganache and vanilla bean buttercream. Variations – Why not have both white and dark chocolate ganache, indulgent layers of house made salted caramel or Nutella buttercream.
Coconut and Lime
Fluffy coconut cake, flecked with zesty lime, with layers of tangy lime buttercream.
Temptingly fluffy and full of flavour with the added bonus of being able to be made into any flavour. I use Yeo Valley yoghurt, so if they make it, I use it. (Don't knock it until you have tried it. This is my go to recipe because it is so versatile, coconut or strawberry are my favourites, and it was one of the first recipes I ever learn't (Thanks mum))
White Chocolate Mud & Raspberry *
Deliciously Moorish white chocolate cake, with layers of white chocolate ganache buttercream and raspberry conserve.
Variation - Sweet strawberry, tangy lemon or tropical compote.
Rich Fruit Cake. **
A rich, moist fruit cake, infused with brandy or rum and covered in a natural marzipan.
Variation – Why not try a Caribbean alternative with coconut rum and added pineapple or how about Amaretto with additional cherries for a bake well like flavour, Yum!
Cherry Bakewell Cake
A deliciously moist almond sponge filled with layers of almond buttercream and cherry compote.
Spice Cake & Apple Compote
Delicately spiced sponge with layers of house made apple compote and vanilla bean buttercream.
A firm favorite, this banana cake is moist and delicious and loaded with chocolate chips with an alternative ganache and vanilla bean buttercream layers.
Lemon & Blueberry *
Lemon infused cake flecked with zesty lemon, with alternate layers of vanilla buttercream and a blueberry/maple syrup sauce.
Variation - Ditch the blueberries and go for a delicious lemon curd filling instead.
Carrot & Walnut.
Traditional and deliciously moist carrot cake, lightly spiced with walnuts and layered with vanilla bean buttercream.
If there is a flavour that you absolutely must have but can’t see it on the list, no problem. Send me a message and I will always try my best to accommodate your request (unless it’s a really, really weird flavour, then I may have to pass! )
* These cakes are perfect for carving and are the main flavours we use, however it doesn't mean you cannot jazz them up with different combinations. Why not try a chocolate and mint or Lemon and lemon curd.
All my cakes and bakes are made in a kitchen where ingredients such as flour and nuts are in constant use, so although I am more than happy to accomodate intolerances, I unfortunately can not make allergy free cakes.

The favours you give your guests should be no less tasty than the cake so here are some yummy options which can also double up as place settings.
Shortbread - Heavenly vanilla or almond, Zesty lemon, Spicy cinnamon, Chocolate and Lime or even with a hint of Chilli.
Macaroons - Simplistic but delicious vanilla, Orange & dark chocolate, Coffee, Raspberry & dark chocolate, Chocolate & Nutella, Lovely lemon, Mint & chocolate.
